This website is an interactive website will links talking about what is in our neighborhood. The students click on the link and they take them to a page that has information about that location and then there is another link that takes them that locations actually page so they could learn more information from this page. There are six location that the students can learn about. They can also go back to the Main page and learn about other US Government places though this website. The website break the page down into grade level so it can be used for other grade and there would be more information for the upper grade levels.
I chose this website because of how interactive it was and all the colors that was used. The website is very easy to navigate and is appealing to the eye. With all the links and colors the students will like reading and getting to know the neighborhood. I feel the content it appropriate but some of my students might feel that is is to young for them. The links that are provide are great links but I don't think are age appropriate for this age group. There not to much interactive activities to do on this website other than to just click and read to learn, so the students might not like that as much as there other websites. The website is organized very well and the students will be able read it.
As an instructor I will have my students use this website to fill out a KWL chart on each of the six location. This will be an activity that will take place over a few days because they will need to read and explore the website. They will first fill out the chart for each of the sic locations based on what they know and would like to know. As they are going though the links and exploring them they will fill out the rest of the chart with what they have learned from the reading. This is a good way for them to explore how the websites and get use to writing and the internet.

The visuals that are on the website are wonderful and very fitting for website and the countries. The readability is very easy for them to read, but there might be some information that they wont understand. The can watch videos, send an e card, print out the information, and more. The website is user friendly and reader friendly.
As an instructor, I can use this website for the students to do a compare and contrast of two different countries. What they will do is select two different countries from different continents and look at the information and see what they have in common and what they do not. They will then write about this and tell me what they learned from doing this activity. This is a good way for the students to learn about new places and what it is like over there.
